Veritas Multi Academy Trust will 'Go All In' to celebrate the National Year of Reading in 2026!

Reading is one of the most powerful tools we can give our young people!

Across our trust, we will be celebrating the love of reading for our pupils, staff and our communities and championing reading for pleasure in every classroom and every home.

Reading open doors to every kind of possibility. We'll not just be celebrating books, but the futures they help build. Reading expands our world and sharpens our minds, yet fewer people are making time to read.

Our Trust‑Wide Reading Pledge

Throughout 2026, all schools within in our trust will work together to:

• Celebrate the love of reading - connecting reading with what pupils already enjoy

• Champion reading for pleasure in every classroom and every home

• Expand access to high‑quality books across all age groups

• Celebrate diverse voices and stories that reflect our communities

• Support families to enjoy reading together

• Develop confident, fluent readers who are ready for the future
