Each member academy will apportion 5% of their total allocation of funding from the EFA. This will allow schools to pay a proportional sum to the trust to enable the appointment of staff across the trust. The funding will also provide support including the CEO, Business Manager, Finance Assistant and Communications Officer. These staff will provide a wide range of support for academies across the trust including executive leadership, financial management, human resources and payroll, IT communications and management systems, legal and governance, estates, standards, research, headteacher appraisal and senior staff appointments.
The top slice allows your school to benefit from the support of the trust and allows headteachers and senior leaders to reduce the distractions from their core purpose of providing irresistible learning for all.
The trust will also be able to broker further services based on the needs of the academies in the trust. This could include a supply teacher pool, training events, support from a National Leader of Education or National Leader of Governance and well being activities for staff.
